Things I want to do

11 Nov

Sometimes while surfing the internet – ok Pinterest primarily – I find that I have interests that I never really knew I had.  There are some things that I would love to start doing (or even try doing). Perhaps if I start making my list of New Year’s resolutions now in November, I might get a head start on them. Perhaps.

1. Knitting. I don’t have something in particular that I want to knit, but I would like to learn how to knit. More often than not, my hands are full of my phone and I would like to replace that with something more productive. Hence the knitting.

2. Bake bread. I often see people giving out their homemade bread recipes on Twitter and Pinterest and they sound so good. If I make them myself, I can really control what goes into my body.

3. Menu Planning. Menu planning is a fabulous idea, one I do from time to time, but clearly not often enough, if it’s made my list.  Ideally, I will plan a month (months?) in advance with corresponding grocery lists. Ideally.

4. My basement. This isn’t so much an interest as it is a necessity. My basement is unfinished (ideally finished soon),  but before that happens, I need to get rid of all the stuff that has been accumulated through the years. First I need a strategy. And a really big bin I think.

That’s all for now.

I just really needed an excuse to start blogging again.

Pinterest is very addictive, isn’t it? I’m sure you’ll be able to do the things you want to do, one by one. I need to blog more too! But I can’t seem to get myself away from Pinterest! 😉

Denise from Petits Chefs Acadamy can help you with menu planning and bread recipes. She was actually also looking for knitting classes recently, so she may be able to help you with that too if she found anything! I think Michael’s might have knitting classes maybe too. Good list!
